京都西陣の宿「WASUKI金閣寺」。京町家の一棟貸施設
当宿は、大正時代に建てられた歴史ある京町家を改装したお宿です。通りに面した二階の「虫籠窓（むしこまど）」は、昔、町人が武士を見下ろす二階建ての建物を造ることが禁じられていた時代に、屋根裏部屋に取りつけられた窓で、今もその名残を感じることができます。
数年前に大きくリフォームを行い、バスルームをはじめ水回りはすべて新しく整えましたので、歴史ある町家でありながら快適にお過ごしいただけます。リビングルームからは坪庭をご覧いただけ、四季折々の自然の移ろいをゆっくり楽しめます。
当宿の周辺はとても静かなエリアで、夜になると街の喧騒から離れて落ち着いた時間が流れます。どうぞ夜は近隣の方へのご配慮をお願いしつつ、静かな京都の夜をじっくり味わっていただければ幸いです。観光での賑やかな一日を終えた後、心を落ち着ける時間を過ごしたい方にはぴったりのお宿です。
名前の由来でもある「金閣寺」までは徒歩10分、北野天満宮までも徒歩9分と、観光にも便利な立地です。
About Our Guesthouse
Our guesthouse is a renovated Kyoto machiya (traditional townhouse) originally built in the Taisho era. On the second floor, you’ll notice a unique feature called a mushikomado window. Long ago, townspeople were forbidden to build two-story houses that overlooked the residences of samurai, so these small windows were added to attic rooms instead. Today, it remains as a charming reminder of Kyoto’s history.
A few years ago, the house underwent a major renovation. The bathrooms and all water facilities have been completely updated, so while the house keeps its traditional atmosphere, it also offers modern comfort. From the living room, you can enjoy a view of the small courtyard garden (tsuboniwa), which changes beautifully with each season.
Our guesthouse is located in a very quiet neighborhood. At night, the surroundings become especially calm, away from the busy city noise. We kindly ask guests to respect the peaceful atmosphere and keep noise to a minimum. If you are looking for a place to relax and truly enjoy the tranquility of a Kyoto evening, this is the perfect spot for you.
As for sightseeing, the famous Kinkaku-ji Temple (Golden Pavilion) is only a 10-minute walk away, and Kitano Tenmangu Shrine is just 9 minutes on foot. It’s an ideal location for exploring the city.

1階はリビング・キッチン・バスルーム・トイレをご用意。やわらかい色調のお部屋で快適にお過ごしいただけます。
On the first floor, you’ll find a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. The rooms are decorated in soft, warm tones, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for your stay.

白を基調にしたバスルーム。バスタブもゆったりとして1日の疲れを癒していただけます。
The bathroom is designed in a white, calming style, featuring a spacious bathtub where you can unwind and soothe the fatigue of the day.
寝室
2階に洋室（シングルベッド2台）と和室（和布団3組）をご用意。最大5名様までお休みいただけます。
On the second floor, we offer a Western-style room with two single beds and a Japanese-style room with three futons. The accommodation can comfortably host up to five guests.
